With mixed feelings of happiness for Joan and sadness for everyone in our law firm we are announcing the retirement of our long-standing office manager Joan Labak as of September 30.
Honoring Joan’s many years of excellent service to the firm, we want to express our deep gratitude for the work Joan performed. We celebrate her loyalty, commitment, and personal integrity she leaves behind.
Joan is well known as a truly dedicated professional who acts on the notion that excellence is something to attain every day. We will miss Joan greatly in the office.
Joan is retiring not only from the firm, she is retiring from the alarm clock, early commute, Zooms, long work days, and stress.
Retirement is about having the chance to do new things, to enjoy new activities and new experiences we never have enough time for. We are excited to see the awesome endeavors Joan will take on next – perhaps more Cubs games, Cirque du Soleil performances, and travels.
We wish Joan good health, pleasant times, and great friends by her side in her so much deserved retirement.
Joan, just keep moving! Just keep counting your steps! Keep in touch! HAPPY RETIREMENT!!
